Abstract

|
Anemia is a sign which is frequently seen in the hematological diseases. The objectives in the management of the patient with anemia are, first the discovery of the cause of the anemia, and, second, correction of the underlying defect. We must remember that the seriousness of the anemia in any patient depends on the underlying cause of the anemia rather than the severity of the anemia. For better diagnostic approach, anemia is fundamentally described according to morphologic classification.
